I think these parts are common for all Atlas horizontal mill models except maybe the MHC, which has levers instead of cranks. Atlas shaper parts seem to sell for higher prices than mill parts.

WEBSep 28, 2012 · Atlas horizontal mill. Picked this little guy up at a yard sale. Atlas model MIC. Works well, came with the metal stand and a few odds and ends. Runs on 110, which is nice. I don't think I did too bad for 300, need to find some mt2 collets and a vise, though. It is based on an Atlas lathe headstock, also sold as Sears Craftsman.

There are two round notches in genuine Atlas milling arbors and these mate with pins that protrude from a threadon spindle drive adaptor to keep the arbor from slipping in the taper when driving a milling cutter.

WEBSep 22, 2016 · Apparently Atlas built this machine with VERY tight tolerances, as a tiny bit of rust literally froze the parts tight. After a few gallons of Evaporust and some gentle persuasion, everything came apart and the rebuild began. Allinall the mill was in pretty good shape, with only 4 gears needing replacement, which were available on EBay.
